For over 16 years, we’ve been more than best friends—we consider each other as sisters. We’ve shared in adventure, laughter, and life’s ups and downs. We’ve celebrated victories, supported each other through challenges, and created unforgettable memories. So, when it came time for the next big chapter, starting a business together felt like the perfect choice. The result, welcome to Wandering Wordz.
Between the both of us we offer many years of experience and expertise with coordination and event planning. Wandering Wordz is our way of building community and doing the things we love to do!
Hi, I’m Rachel!
People, books, and writing have always been my passion. From crafting short stories as a child to joining the school newspaper in middle school, my love for storytelling has only grown. In high school, I embraced my love for literature by becoming a library aide and was honored to be recognized as senior class poet—deepening my lifelong connection to the written word. That passion never faded, and now, alongside my best friend, it’s turned into something even bigger—Wandering Wordz.
I have a background in psychology, marketing, planning and coordinating events. I have years of volunteer work in many different areas and have had the opportunity to meet a lot of unique and wonderful people. My experience and passion have led me to both create and be a part of thriving communities.
Community is something I deeply cherish—it’s an essential part of life. Finding your people and sharing what you love is a truly special experience. If you haven’t read Find Your People by Jennie Allen, I highly recommend it. We all need a circle, a tribe, a place where we belong. At Wandering Wordz, we’re here to help you build that connection through the power of words, storytelling, and creating unique experiences.

Some of my earliest and most cherished childhood memories come from time spent with my grandfather. He would tell me stories and sing me songs, filling my world with words that felt like magic. Those moments instilled in me a deep love for storytelling, a passion for music, and an unshakable belief in the power of words to connect us.
In my free time, you’ll find me curled up with my dogs and a good book, getting lost in the energy of a concert or music festival, or proudly supporting my husband—who is obviously a musician.
Beyond my love for books and storytelling, I have spent years dedicated to volunteer work, coordinating and event planning, with a background in business administration and promotions. But more than anything, I’ve always been passionate about bringing people together. That’s why Wandering Wordz felt like the perfect path—combining a love for words, community, and shared experiences into something meaningful. We’re here to create spaces where stories are celebrated, connections are made, and passions are shared. And I couldn’t be more excited to be on this journey.
